Candle Refills
Below are the directions with pictures for pouring your own candles using our pre-fragranced pouches.
Each pouch will refill either 1 medium TTD vessel or 2 small TTD vessels. You can also use your own container.
Kit Contains
14 oz of fragranced coconut/soy wax, 2 wicks with tabs, 2 wick stabilizers, 2 clips, 1 wick tab spacer and instruction card.
Step One
Remove existing wick(s) and wax from the vessel. Clean with warm water/dish soap and dry the vessel, ensure that all the wax is removed from the base, so your wick tab(s) will stick to bottom.
Remove the wick tab(s) backing and place the wick(s) on the bottom of your vessel, press and hold a few seconds, use the tab spacer if you are double-wicking.
Step Two
Use the wick stabilizer by threading the wick(s) through the hole(s), centering it on your vessel and securing with the clip(s). Place vessel on a protected, even surface that will not be disturbed during the pouring and cooling of the wax.
Step Three
Open the pouch and place it on a paper towel, microwave for 60 seconds, gently squeeze the pouch to break up any unmelted wax and heat again in 15 second intervals, just until all wax chunks are melted. Do not overheat the pouch!
Step Four
Carefully pour the wax into the vessel, leaving about 1/2" of top clearance, adjust the wick stabilizer if needed. Any remaining wax can be stored in pouch and used in the future.
Step Five
Allow candle to cure for at least 3 days before lighting, the longer you wait the better the fragrance will be. Trim the wick(s) to 1/2" for the first burn, light and enjoy. Remember to burn the candle the first time until the melt pool reaches the edge of the container, this will help eliminate any tunneling. Trim to 1/4" for each consecutive burn.
